Know Before You Go
- Arrive at Colosseum main entrance on time or within 15 minutes before/after your ticket time.
- Bring Photo ID: Your ID must match the name on your ticket for entry.
- Security Screening: Expect airport-style security; large bags, glass, and sharp objects are strictly prohibited.

PALATINE & FORUM MAIN ENTRANCE
Know Before You Go
- Access anytime 9 AM–4 PM (stay until 5:30 PM).
- Single Entry: Your ticket covers both sites, but you cannot re-enter once you leave the complex.
- 24H Entry:Your ticket for the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill is valid for 24 hours, starting from the time printed at the top of your ticket and expiring at the same time the following day. So there’s no need to rush – you can use your single entry either on the same day as your visit to the Colosseum or at your leisure the following day.
